M FAISANDIER

M Faisandier's immersive composition and performance works unravel synchronistically through the release of control. In this expansive space, new experiential potentials of sound are invited to visit. Electro-magnetic resonances propagate to create vast and unique sound worlds inviting deep listening, reflection, surrender and transcendence - themes which converge creatively within their work.

Their energy is notably focussed through The Convoy (a musical nebula unto themselves) with Erin K Taylor,  who have recently brought their sound weaving apparatus to multisensory VR installations “Starless” (2017) and more recently “Gondwana” (pending). They also perform experimental works under the alias Nil Silver Raven and collaborate with Thomas Arbor in 100 Suns, with artist Otis Chamberlain in Akaname and "pseudo-electro bird-grind" duet Ornithologist .

They founded Magnet Studios in North Coburg Australia in 2011, a creative space upcycled from a retired mushroom farm which now cultivates a creative community of artists and musicians.
