Artist bio and track info:

1. Zach Webber - The Only House with its Lights Still On

Zach Webber, aka Paperghost, is a composer, visual artist and video game designer based in Te Whanganui a Tara.


2. Box of Hammers - The Wind Blowing Across the Lake

Programme Note:
This track is a combination of field and studio recordings, and features on the album "The Lake".


3. Przemysław Scheller - Phos Hilaron


As a contemporary composer interested in instrumental, vocal, and electro-acoustic music, Przemysław Scheller explores the nature of sound. He is developing various dimensions of time and space, searching for the bond between past and present.

Born in 1990 in Poland, he graduated from the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice (Poland) & and Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et Danse de Lyon (France), and received Ph.D. in music composition in 2018. He works as an assistant professor at the Academy of Music in Katowice.



4. Cam Bennett - Sound 41

Programme note:
A promising result from a series of experiments in modulating bass frequencies.

6. Thomas Arbor - Home of Compassion

Programme note:
This piece is a collage of recordings made in and around Our Lady's Home of Compassion in Island Bay, Wellington as part of a Heritage Week event in November 2023.

Thomas Arbor is a sonic artist currently based in Te Whanganui a Tara.
