Artist Bios:

MOTTE is the solo project of Lyttelton-based violinist and composer, Anita Clark. Riding the thin line between beauty and devastation, Motte weaves together a richly textured world with a violin, delay pedal, sampled sound and voice. Creating a world solely her own, the sound is modern classical, ambient, alt/experimental pop and improvised noise. Motte has released two albums since 2015; 'Songs For Movies' and 'Strange Dreams', with a third to be released next year. Alongside performing she also composes for film, theatre and dance.

Riki Pirihi (CAVE CIRCLES) is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, composer, and conductor from Wellington, New Zealand. Riki has been an active musician for 25 years and has worked on a wide range of projects that span from within the improvised music scenes; electronic music; film and television; commercial music projects. His career has seen him appear on over 200 albums and he continues to keep recording and composing. Current projects that Riki is involved with are Orchestra of Spheres, Virtual Shadow Ensemble, and his large conduction ensemble, Ngā Tuone.
