Carols for Convicts is Minnelli’s third album, reflecting countless hours of meticulous bedroom tinkering by the prolific musical hermit, Caleb McKenzie. Once again he melds layers of live, sampled and programmed elements in the classic Minnelli style – this time a little more lively with tight, playful rhythms and melody aplenty.
