Aridni Orca

Aridni Orca is a multi-disciplinary artist originally from the rainforests of Titirangi, New Zealand. Her compositions are a distinct hybrid of electronic elements, processed environmental samples and classical arrangements. Their latest practice explores abrasive textures paired with childish folkloric soundscapes.

Real name Indira Force, her discography includes albums under avant-pop project ‘indi’ (2670 Records Japan, Flying Nun) experimental ambient duo ‘New Dawn’ (Sonorous Circle) and cult trip-hop band ‘Doprah’ (Arch Hill, Secretly Canadian).

Her live set is a harp and electronics performance, previous shows of which include Madrid Fashion Week for the Evade House runway collection and the Metaverse premiere in Spain.

In 2018, she was invited to participate in the prestigious Red Bull Music Academy. She also has a history of cinematic composition with notable score works like Denise Batchelor’s internationally exhibited film installation Chrysaora Colorata, T.H.E. Singapore Dance Company performance Transit and award- winning short film Daniel, by Claire van Beek.
