We're excited to welcome Aridni Orca and announce the new video for her single, Crushed!

Written, directed and animated by digital artist Ella Chau aka Ellasuper, the video features Aridni Orca immersed in a fantasy world of game-engine graphics, sparkling with the creative abundance of the sonic world she created.

On the creation of the music the artist said "The song itself was originally an experiment in automation - also sampling concepts from an earlier piece I had made for Works for Loudspeakers called Glaciers Falling".

"I have recurring tsunami dreams ever since I was young and when I first started showing the song to friends they would say ‘it reminds me of a huge wave’, which was so crazy because it must have snuck in from my subconscious somehow. I don’t usually know what my songs are about until after they are made."

"The outfit is by NZ designer Emma Jing who does a lot of really structural and textural pieces that I love. It feels like wearing art."
