Once again the Israel/ Palestine conflict has boiled into mass murder with over 172 Palestinians, mostly civilians, killed in the last 7 days from heavy bombing on residential areas and rocket launch sites. There have been no Israeli casualties, owing both to the lacking power of the Palestinian rockets, and the near impenetrability of the Israeli missile defense system, the so-called ‘Iron Dome’.
As the never-ending conflict continues we are reminded that violence solves nothing. The following cartoon musical shows a creative (and loose) history of the back and forth killing that has relentlessly tormented successive peoples of this area since ancient times:
